Technically speaking, the first meal of the day is always breakfast. You are “breaking the fast” as you wake up from your rest and extended period of not eating. Personally I’ve been known to enjoy pancakes at an hour that some would think of as dinner time, but what the heck! sometimes you just want ramen for breakfast!
